About the department

The department of Botany began its voyage since 2015 in Hijli college. The department offers B.Sc general programme in botany under CBCS and 3- tiers pattern following the curriculum of Vidyasagar University. At present there is one guest faculties in this department. Students of this department performed very well in the University examinations. This department has sophisticated laboratory equipments as required by the syllabus. The teacher of this department can deliver lecture with the help of projector and smart class room facility. E-book facilities are available in the department of the students.
