The Department of mathematics is one of the oldest Departments in this college. This Department was initiated in the year 1995 and offered B.Sc. Honours and general course of six semesters as per C.B.C.S rule of Vidyasagar University. This department is well-equipped with computer laboratory to conduct computer classes. Since then most of the students studying Mathematics Honours have completed this course with flying colours. So it may be concluded that since its inception, the department has never looked back but progressed steadily to be what it is today.
The Department can live up to the expectations of serious students all the time and in all the days to come.
